Brazilian music show abroad 'a short introduction

As a matter of fact, nobody needs a lot of words and explanations to get familiar with "Bananas Samba Show", one of the most creative and original musical groups ever created in Europe.

However, it seems appropriate here not to forget the past, even when the main subject is music and dance.
Some may find excessive, but none can deny the importance of popular music in Brazil where it has already reached the academic level.
It is easy to explain such an enticing reality which may be synthesised by structure quality and variety of Brazilian popular music.

The "Samba" is, essentially, a music appropriate for dancing and bodily expression. But its poetry is much more flexible and has singular ability of captivating the soul of ordinary people, as well as that's brilliant poets, many of whom have put their pompous style and have fully embraced the uniqueness of the popular song, by recreating it their own compositions.

Brazilian popular music became a reality when the country developed its national character but its importance is relatively recent. The materialisation of such phenomenon occurred with flourishing of the "Bossa Nova" in the late 50's when Brazilian contemporary music actually came into being, thanks basically to the professional musicians from Rio de Janeiro night clubs and Sao Paulo.
Shortly thereafter Brazilian music would receive world wide acclaim and the "Bossa Nova" would be introduced into highly competitive markets of United States and Europe.

The "Bossa Nova" was not, however, a pioneer in the international market because towards the end of the 30's, Hollywood had already presented in the movie screens all around the world.
